Binghamton Student Says He Warned Officials

On December 6. A 77 year old college professor, Richard T. Antoun who discovered antiwar philosophies was found dead in his classroom. he had been stabbed violently. He was found on his office last Friday. He was killed by: Abdulsalam Zahari, he is 46 years old and he is from Saudi Arabia. His roomate Soulyemane Sakho, a graduate sytudent had warned the police and his school about the strange behavior of Mr. Zahari.

Mr. Zahari had been acting strangely. He had been talking about death, of his financial problems and that he was being persecuted because he was muslim. Mr. Shako said that: "He could be a terrorist, and that he had warned the police that maybe he could act violently". 10 days ago the police went to their apartment because of his weirds behaviors.

We think that the police, should have been more helpfull with Mr. Sahako and maybe they could have prevented the profesors death.

U.S police

Last Tuesday a policeman was investigating a stolen car on Seattle. they found a man called Maurice Clemmons, he had been accoused of killing four police officers in a cafe in Seatttle. When the policeofficers found him they ordered him to stop. Maurice tried to escape. When he tried to escape the police found himself in a really hard situation and he decided to shoot, Maurice. The victims were: Sargent. Mark Renniger and the officers Ronald Owens, Tina Griswold and Greg Richards.

The Police assitant in chief Pugel, said in a press conference that a patrolman found clemmmons while he was investigating a stolen car. Suddenly, the policmen felt a movement behind him he recognaized Clemmens and ordered him to stop. Clemmmons tried to run away and shot a series of shots. The policeoficer then shot severeal rounds at Clemmons.

We think the policeofficer did the right thing beacuse if it wasn't for him the dangerous suspect Clemmons could have run away. And Seattle streets wouldn't be safe.

Agassi

Agassi was the best tennis player of his times. One week ago he confess by saying that he never liked tennis but his dad force him to play because he played it too. Agassi never went to school he always spent time practicing tennis. but in all his times of tennis player he was a drogadict and alcoholic. He never liked tennis he heated.

Two weeks ago he wanted to start playing again but the peple discovered all. He didnt even went to school because all he did was play tennis. (which he dind't really like) Later on he told the truth in his book, magazines and interviews.

We think that his dad was very bad with him but we really like how he played tennis.

Bomb Material Cache Uncovered in Afghanistan

The U.S army found 2,000 pounds of bomb making devices. Timers and triggers were also found. 15 Aghans were detained. They also found a home that made bombs that weighed about 60 pounds. After the U.S army found the bombs more than 10 tractors-trailer loads that carried thousands of bombs. Mark Leesaid that "You can turn a bag of ammonium nitrate into a bomb in a matter of hours." There was an operation that was made on Tuesday. They say it was one of the biggest of its type. The material found in the bombs are illegal in Afghanistan. Sometimes the farmers can use it as a fertilizer.

Home made bombs have been used as skyrocketing. last year there were more than 4,100 bobs that were exploded or that were discovered in Afghanistan.In this year 6,500 bombs have been found or been of.In Kabul they they have discovered 60% of the bombs,75% of homemede bombs ere in southern Afghanistan. The home made bombs era one of the biggest killers of the neto soldiers.

Colombia: To Expand U.S Army Precence Signed

The American Ambassador William Brownfield went to a private ceremony last friday, with three Colombian ministers. They got to an agreement and they signed a document saying that they would expand the Washingtons Military in Colombia. Colombian's offials said that teir wil be U.S miliatars on seven colombian bases. The Washington militars would be in Colombia for 10 years helping the Colombian govermnet to fight with the F.A.R.C. This will help a lot because this battles had affected a lot the Colombian people. We think the U.S goverment will be a very good help for Colombia it will protect all the families and will save all the people that are kidnapped. Any help will really help this country. This country won't be alone fighting with the F.A.R.C. they really apreacciate the help that U.S goverment had gived. We wish that this battles finished to have in this country.

Clinton Arrival In Pakistan met by Fatal Attacks

On Wednesday October 28 The secretary of State, Hillary Clinton arrived at Islamabad, Pakistan. She had a meeting with the Islamabad goverment. There was a bomb in market near the Norwest city of Peshawar this horrible event killed about 101 people some were women amd their children. These events had become more often, each time they happen to be more dangerous. The authorities of Pakistani say this attack has been the most awful in two years.
Hillary Clinton, The secretar y of State said that "They know they are on the losing side of history," she said that the militants "But they are determine to take as many lives with them as their movement is finally exposed for the nihilistic, empty effort it is." ": I want you to know that this is no Pakistan's alone . This is our struggle as well."
this is a very dark day for U.N in Afghanistan," said Eide, The United Nations special represantative to Afghanistan. He said officials of the organization wuold review"whether other appropiate measures need to be taken to protect all our staff."
There was no evidence that this had been a planed attack. No oine accepted responsability for this terrible attack. The Pakistan authiorities say taht these might be another attack from the Pakistani,Taliban militants; this is not the first attack from them. They have created other suicide bombs in security instalations and western targets.
We think that this problem has become very important. Also we think that the authorities have to find the people who did this, because it killed a lot of womans and children. We think that other countries can help Pakistan with this attacks.
